Kevin Harmon

Founder & CEO

Kevin Harmon is the founder and CEO of Brisa International, LLC. He is a scientist, businessman, leader, and prolific inventor.

Mr. Harmon brings 30+ years of international consulting and executive level business management experience to Brisa. In his capacity with Brisa, Mr. Harmon led a team which researched and project planned over USD $13 billion in wind and solar projects for a major developer in the US. He also directed teams with the highest levels of expertise worldwide in the planning of major infrastructure projects totaling more than USD $9 billion dollars in wastewater treatment, desalination, conventional power generation, waste-to-energy, biomass, biofuel generation and processing, solar thermal, solar PV, water conservation, power transmission, and other areas of infrastructure services.

Mr. Harmon has spoken at the highest levels at the United Nations, the World Bank, and many other international organizations regarding Brisa’s innovative approaches to move forward with the sustainable infrastructure designs of the future.

Barry Griffith

Barry K. Griffith is a seasoned business development executive with 31+ years of experience in bringing early-stage technology companies to market in the environmental and medical fields. Involved in the introduction of novel medical devices in the Orthopedic, Vascular, Neurological, Cancer and Molecular Diagnostics markets. Barry served as Director of Sales with Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., as well as Calypso Medical Technologies, Novoste, and Isoray. Left the corporate ranks in 2010 to form “The Bench,” an executive search firm and consultancy focusing on go to market strategies and outcome based hiring practices. Barry chairs the foundation for Arkansas Baptist College an HBCU and was a founding member of Gravity Ventures. Barry lives with his wife Andrea and their 8 children in Roland, Ark.

Paul Neilson

Paul has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry serving as Process Supervision/Manager providing process technical services on numerous refinery, gasification/power, biofuel and chemical projects. These projects have ranged from conceptual studies to full process designs and follow-up on major projects ranging from a few million to multi-billion dollar. During his lengthy tenure at Bechtel and Jacobs, he was part of the Technology Group whose portfolio that included the Phillips 66 (formerly ConocoPhillips) Delayed Coker Alliance, the Shell Global Solutions hydroprocessing technologies (secondment) and the former Texaco Lube Oil and the GE Gasification technologies, to name a few. Additionally, during his tenure at these two major EPC engineering companies, Paul led process design teams ranging to as high as 25 process engineers on small to large design projects in developmental to detail design.

These projects have involved wastewater treatment, desalination, conventional power generation, waste-to-energy, biomass, biofuel generation and processing, biomass products synthesis, water conservation and other areas of infrastructure services. Shannon is a seasoned researcher with 24 years of experience, being published 11 times for her research and has participated in the development and filing of numerous patents worldwide.

Shannon Johnson leads a team tasked with research and development of novel technologies and processes involving carbon neutralization and biofuel production and bioproducts synthesis.
